AGM & Staff Reception 2024

The Long Buckby Community Centre held its annual AGM yesterday evening where not only did we secure 2 new trustees but we had, for the first time, a great representation from some of our regular hirers. It was fantastic to see so many of you there and wanting to know more about what we have planned for the centre in the future. We also had even more who came to wish our long term staff all the best at our celebration reception which immediately followed the AGM.

The trustees would again like to thank all of the harding working individuals who have helped keep the centre running with special recognition for the following:

• Alan Gautrey - our beloved caretaker who has taken a step back to focus on his retirement but is still here to help us when called for
• Clive Dunkley - our long standing cleaner who has decided to relocate
• Chris Culbert - 19 years of being the face of the centre and we so fortunate to have now as a new trustee
• David Cadd - our now previous treasurer who not only put the centre on a very stable financial footing but also kept all our IT in order too, not an easy task!
• David Bostrom - our superstar handyman/previous chairman/electriction/builder the list goes on!

We also must thank our dedicated group of volunteers who help with all manner of things to keeping the plants looking tidy to putting on stunning fundraising events, without you we would not be where we are today!

Lastly a big thank you to everyone who has engaged with us over the past year and we can't wait to see you all at the centre over the coming year.
